The Mountain Gorilla
Have you ever heard of sasquatch? Well, this is your “sasquatch”. Not everyone knows that the mountain gorilla exists, so they think “sasquatch!”. Anyways let's discuss why the mountain gorilla is endangered.
If you’ve read any of my other articles, I’m sure you have a good idea of why. For these gorgeous animals, they’re population is damaged due to poaching. Unfortunately, there’s just over 1,000 left. Which is not a lot.
Mountain gorillas can grow to be 5 ½ feet tall when standing on two feet! That’s pretty big. These animals can survive in conditions that are close to death for a human. They thrive in elevations between 8,000-13,000 feet.
